Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Zuurbemde

The Drive from BRU to Zuurbemde

The route covers 60 km (38 miles) and typically takes around 43 minutes. You leave the airport area and head towards East Flanders, so the second half of the trip passes through quieter, more rural surroundings than the Brussels ring. Zuurbemde is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request like any other route.

Morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels can slow the first part of the journey, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make. Your driver will keep an eye on the traffic and choose the best route on the day.

Which Vehicle Suits Your Group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the natural choice: there is a version for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4. If you travel with several suitcases or sports equipment, it is worth booking the larger option so everyone rides comfortably.

Larger parties can choose from a range of private minibuses:

• 8 seats for bigger families or small groups of friends
• 16 and 24 seats for wedding parties, team outings or business groups
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for large delegations, clubs and organised tours

Pick the vehicle by the number of people and the amount of luggage together, not by passengers alone.

About Zuurbemde

Zuurbemde is a small place in East Flanders, in the flat, green countryside typical of the region. It is a quiet area rather than a tourist hub, which makes a door-to-door private transfer especially practical: you are taken straight to your address without having to plan several connections after landing. Have the full street address ready when you book so the driver can navigate directly.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up without any searching.
