The Drive to Zurenborg

The route covers 44 km (28 miles) and typically takes about 34 minutes. It leads north from the airport towards Antwerp, and Zurenborg lies on the eastern side of the city, in the Berchem district. Traffic around Brussels and on the approach to Antwerp can slow things down at morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so allow some extra time if you have a tight appointment or a check-in deadline.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Zurenborg is best known for its late-nineteenth-century architecture, especially along the Cogels-Osylei, where Art Nouveau, eclectic and neo-style townhouses stand side by side. It is a residential quarter with cafés and restaurants, and it lies close to Antwerp-Berchem station. Many visitors come simply to walk the streets and admire the façades. When you book, give the exact street address, as some streets in the area are narrow and a precise drop-off point saves time.
