Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Zonnegem

The Drive from BRU to Zonnegem

Zonnegem lies 48 km (30 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 36 minutes. Most of the journey is on main roads, so the time is fairly predictable outside busy periods. The area around Brussels can slow down during weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so it is sensible to allow some extra time if you have a tight appointment or onward connection.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Your driver takes you directly to the address you give, with no shared stops along the way.

Meeting Point

After collecting your luggage, make your way to Java Coffee House, which is easy to find from the arrivals area. Your driver will be waiting there with a personalised name sign.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For couples, solo travellers or small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. A taxi seats up to three passengers, and there is a version for up to four if you travel with a little more luggage or an extra person.

Larger parties are covered by the minibus range:

• 8 seats for extended families or small business groups
• 16 and 24 seats for wedding parties, clubs or team trips
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for large groups travelling together to the same address

If you are unsure how much luggage will fit, choose the next size up. Extra space makes the ride more comfortable, especially after a long flight.

About Zonnegem

Zonnegem is a small village in East Flanders, part of the municipality of Sint-Lievens-Houtem. It is a quiet, rural setting with farmland and countryside around it, rather than a busy tourist centre. Travellers usually come here to visit family, attend a local event or reach a nearby home or business. Because the village is small, it helps to have the full street address and a contact number ready, so your driver can find the exact door without delay.
