Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Zichen-Zussen-Bolder

The drive from Brussels Airport

The transfer covers 108 km (68 miles) and typically takes 1 h 10 m. The route leads east from Zaventem towards Belgian Limburg and ends in a quiet rural area near the Dutch border. Zichen-Zussen-Bolder is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during weekday rush hours around Brussels, or in poor weather, when the journey can run longer than the typical time.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 or 24 Seats: for wedding parties, sports teams and company groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 or 48 Seats: for large delegations, tour groups and events where everyone should arrive together.

If you are unsure, pick the larger option when you carry bulky items such as sports gear or several large suitcases.

About Zichen-Zussen-Bolder and where to stay

Zichen-Zussen-Bolder is a small village in the municipality of Riemst, in the province of Limburg. It lies close to Maastricht and the Dutch border. The surroundings are rural and calm, so most visitors come for the countryside, for family visits or to combine the stay with a trip to nearby towns.

I cannot name established hotels in the village itself with confidence. The nearest larger town with well-known accommodation is Maastricht, just across the border in the Netherlands. Long-established choices there include:

• Kruisherenhotel Maastricht, a hotel in a former monastery in the city centre.
• Hotel Derlon Maastricht, a well-known hotel in the old town.

If you stay in Maastricht, tell us the exact address when you book so the driver can plan the route from the airport.
