Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Zeist

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Zeist

Zeist lies in the Netherlands, 170 km (106 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport. The typical driving time is 1 h 56 m, and the journey crosses the Belgian-Dutch border on the way. Zeist is booked less often than other routes from BRU, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during rush hour, as traffic around the larger cities en route can slow the trip. The same applies on busy holiday weekends.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller parties can choose a private taxi: one for up to 3 passengers, or a larger one for up to 4. Families or groups with a lot of luggage may prefer the 8-seat minibus. For bigger groups there are minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. That makes the route workable for conference delegations, school trips and wedding parties as well as individual travellers. Pick the vehicle by the number of people and bags, and leave some room to spare after a long flight.

Zeist as a Destination

Zeist is a town in the province of Utrecht, close to the city of Utrecht and surrounded by woodland. It is known for Slot Zeist, a castle with a landscaped park in the town centre. Many visitors come for business meetings, conferences or to stay somewhere quieter than the big cities.

Places to Stay in Zeist

One of the best-known addresses in town is Hotel Figi, a long-established hotel and conference venue that is popular with business travellers and groups. If you want more choice, Utrecht is a short drive away. There you will find Grand Hotel Karel V and Park Plaza Utrecht. Confirm your drop-off address when booking, so the driver can take you directly to the entrance.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.
