Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Zaffelare

The drive from Brussels Airport to Zaffelare

The route covers 78 km (49 miles) and typically takes about 55 minutes. Zaffelare is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other. Allow some extra time if you travel on a weekday morning or late afternoon, when traffic around Brussels and towards Ghent tends to be heavier. If you have a train, ferry or appointment to reach, build in a margin on top of the standard driving time.

Choosing the right vehicle

For smaller parties there are two taxi options: a private taxi for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers. Choose the larger one if you are travelling with bulky luggage or a child seat. Families with several suitcases and larger groups can book a private minibus with 8 or 16 seats. For wedding parties, school trips or company events, minibuses with 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats are available, so everyone arrives together in one vehicle.
