Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Xhendremael

The Drive from BRU to Xhendremael

The route covers 87 km (54 miles) and typically takes about 55 minutes by road. That is a fairly long transfer, so a private car makes sense if you arrive tired or with luggage and do not want to deal with connections after landing. Xhendremael is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Brussels traffic can slow the first part of the journey, especially on weekday mornings and late afternoons. If you have a fixed appointment in Xhendremael, it is sensible to allow some extra time beyond the usual 55 minutes. Bad weather and roadworks can also add delays, and your driver will choose the best way to go on the day.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or small groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for team trips, wedding parties and mid-sized groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large delegations, tour groups and event arrivals travelling together.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up so everyone has room for their luggage.

About Xhendremael

Xhendremael is a small, mostly residential locality in the Liège region of Wallonia. It is a quiet place rather than a tourist destination, so most visitors come to see family, to work in the area, or to stay close to the city of Liège. Because it is small, it helps to have the exact street address ready for your booking, so the driver can take you straight to the door.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage. Once you have met, the driver will take you to the vehicle.
