Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Wortel

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Wortel

Wortel lies 81 km (51 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 57 minutes. The route heads north towards the province of Antwerp and ends on quieter local roads in the Campine region. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush, when the roads around Brussels and Antwerp slow down, or in poor weather.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats and 16 Seats: suit larger families, friends travelling together or small business groups.
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: suit coach-sized parties such as clubs, wedding guests, school groups or company teams.

If you carry bulky items such as sports gear or several large suitcases, choose the next size up for comfort.
