Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Wilskerke

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without searching the terminal.

The Drive to Wilskerke

The route covers 133 km (83 miles) and typically takes 1 h 29 m. It runs from the Brussels area towards the West Flemish coast. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or evening rush around Brussels, or on sunny summer weekends, when coastal traffic tends to be heavier. Your driver knows the route and will adapt to conditions on the day.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle options are:

• Private Taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, suited to couples, families and small groups with ordinary luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats for larger families or friends travelling together with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats for wedding parties, club trips and medium-sized groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats for coach-sized groups, such as company outings or large event guests.

On a drive of this length, choosing a vehicle with a little spare space makes the journey more comfortable for everyone.

About Wilskerke

Wilskerke is a small village in the municipality of Middelkerke, close to the Belgian coast in West Flanders. It is a quiet place, mainly residential, with flat polder countryside around it. The wider coastal area, with its long beaches and seaside promenades, is within easy reach.

Where to Stay Nearby

Wilskerke itself is very small, so many visitors stay in Ostend, the nearest larger town. Well-established options there include:

• Thermae Palace Hotel, a historic hotel on the seafront promenade.
• Radisson Blu Palace Hotel, also on the seafront, in the centre of Ostend.
• Andromeda Hotel, a seafront hotel near the Kursaal area.
