Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Willebroek

The drive from Zaventem to Willebroek

Willebroek lies 30 km (19 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes around 25 minutes. This is an occasionally booked route, so your driver is likely to plan it specifically around your arrival. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours on the roads around Brussels and Mechelen can slow things down, so allow a little extra time if you have a tight onward appointment.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice: one option seats 1-3 passengers, the other 1-4. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8 seats, or step up to 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats for tour groups, teams and company events. Pick the size that also covers your luggage, not just the number of people.

Willebroek as a destination

Willebroek is a town in the province of Antwerp, set between Brussels and Antwerp and closely tied to the canal that links the two cities. It is a quiet, largely residential place, which makes it a calm base for visits to the surrounding area. Travellers coming here are often heading for local business appointments, family visits or a stay away from the busier city centres.

Meeting point at the airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without any searching around the terminal.
