Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Wierden

The drive from Brussels Airport to Wierden

The transfer covers 282 km (176 miles) and typically takes 3 h 1 m. You leave Belgium and cross into the Netherlands, ending in the eastern province of Overijssel. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Because it is a long journey, allow extra time if you travel during busy commuter hours, in poor weather, or around the border region, as traffic can lengthen the trip beyond the typical driving time. A private transfer lets you rest after your flight instead of working out connections with luggage.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The 1-4 option gives a little more room for a family or for travellers with several suitcases. For larger groups, private minibuses are available in several sizes:

• 8 seats: for groups up to 8 passengers
• 16 seats: for groups up to 16 passengers
• 24 seats: for groups up to 24 passengers
• 32 seats: for groups up to 32 passengers
• 40 and 48 seats: for the largest parties, up to 40 or 48 passengers

On a drive of just over three hours, comfort matters. Pick a vehicle with space for both your group and your luggage.
