Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Wezeren

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Wezeren

The route between Brussels Zaventem Airport and Wezeren covers 58 km (36 miles), and the typical driving time is 38 minutes. Most of the journey is on motorways heading east, followed by a short stretch on local roads into the village. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so a driver can be arranged for your arrival time.

Brussels traffic is the main variable. Weekday mornings and late afternoons around the ring road and the airport approach can add noticeable time, as can roadworks and bad weather. If you have a connection, an appointment or an event to reach, build in a buffer beyond the 38 minutes.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and luggage. Travelling in a small group, you can choose between:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) for solo travellers, couples or small families with standard luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) for a group of four, as long as the luggage is modest.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats for larger families or groups with extra bags.

For bigger parties, such as wedding guests, company teams or sports clubs, minibuses are available with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Choose the size that gives everyone a seat and leaves room for the luggage. If you are unsure, pick the next size up.
