Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Wezembeek-Oppem

The drive from BRU to Wezembeek-Oppem

The trip covers 11 km (7 miles) and usually takes about 13 minutes. It is a short run, so you can be at your door soon after leaving the terminal. Weekday morning and late-afternoon traffic around Brussels can slow things down, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make. This route is booked only occasionally, which means your driver will plan it carefully with your arrival in mind.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a Private Taxi is the simplest choice, with versions for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. If you travel with several suitcases or a larger party, a Private Minibus with 8 seats gives you more room. Bigger groups such as wedding guests, school trips or business delegations can choose a minibus with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Pick the size based on both passengers and luggage, and choose the next size up if you are close to the limit.

Wezembeek-Oppem as a destination

Wezembeek-Oppem is a residential municipality in Flemish Brabant, right on the eastern edge of the Brussels region. It is a quiet, green area with family homes and tree-lined streets, which makes a door-to-door transfer especially convenient. Its closeness to the airport means you arrive without a long journey after your flight.

Drop-off tips for residential streets

Give the full street name and house number when you book, as many roads in the area are small and residential. If your address is hard to find or has a shared entrance, add a short note so the driver can stop at the right spot. For the return journey to the airport, aim to be ready a few minutes before the agreed time so the short drive stays relaxed.

Meeting Point

After collecting your luggage, head to Java Coffee House, which is easy to find. Your driver will be waiting there with a personalised name sign.
