Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Wez-Velvain

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Wez-Velvain

The route covers 115 km (72 miles) and typically takes 1 h 22 m. You leave the Zaventem area, pass the Brussels ring and continue west and south-west into the province of Hainaut. This is not one of our most frequently booked routes, but it is available on request like every other transfer. The ring around Brussels is the main variable: during the morning and evening rush hours it can slow things down, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connecting journey at the other end. Bad weather can also stretch the journey.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For small parties, a private taxi is the simplest option. We offer a taxi for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers, which is worth choosing if you travel with a family and a few suitcases. Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so a wedding party, a team or a company group can travel together in a single vehicle instead of splitting up. When booking, choose the size by the number of people and add some room for luggage.
