Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Weisten

The drive from Brussels Airport to Weisten

The route covers 169 km (106 miles) and typically takes 1 h 48 m by road. That is a fairly long transfer, so a private car is a comfortable way to reach your destination without juggling connections after a flight. Traffic around Brussels can slow the first part of the journey, especially during weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or check-in deadline in Weisten. Bad weather can also add minutes, so it is sensible not to plan too tightly.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and luggage. For small parties there are two taxi options:

• Private Taxi for 1-3 passengers
• Private Taxi for 1-4 passengers

Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits families with plenty of bags, wedding parties, sports teams, company groups and organised tours, since everyone travels together and arrives at the same time. If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up so that suitcases and equipment fit easily.

About Weisten

Weisten is a small place in Belgium, so it is not a destination with a large number of visitor facilities. Because smaller villages can be hard to locate, send your exact address or the name of your accommodation when you book, so the driver can take you straight to the door. This also helps if your final stop is a private house or a holiday rental rather than a well-known landmark.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without a long search through the terminal.
