Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Wardin

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Wardin

Wardin lies 187 km (117 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes 2 h 5 m. The route heads south-east across Belgium towards the Ardennes, so the last part of the journey runs on quieter regional roads. Wardin is not a frequently booked destination, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time during the weekday morning and evening rush around Brussels, and in winter, when snow or fog can slow traffic in the Ardennes.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Couples and small families will be comfortable in a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Check the luggage you are bringing when you choose between them. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for family gatherings, hiking and cycling groups, or school and club trips. With a dedicated vehicle, everyone travels together and nobody has to arrange connections for a rural destination.

Wardin and Where to Stay

Wardin is a small village in the municipality of Bastogne, in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. The surrounding Ardennes countryside is known for forests, walking routes and quiet roads. Because the village is small, most visitors choose accommodation in nearby Bastogne, which is the closest town with a wider range of hotels. Established options there include:

• Hôtel Collin's in Bastogne
• Hôtel Lebrun in Bastogne
• Hôtel Melba in Bastogne
