Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Walhain

The drive from Brussels Airport to Walhain

Walhain lies 45 km (28 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 35 minutes. The route leaves the airport area and heads south-east into Walloon Brabant. It is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer. Weekday rush hours around Brussels can slow the first part of the journey, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a tight schedule on arrival day.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, the Private Taxi is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, so choose the larger option if you carry extra luggage or travel with four people. Larger parties can book a Private Minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for wedding guests, business delegations, sports teams or family gatherings who want to arrive together. Pick the vehicle by the number of passengers and the amount of luggage rather than by the number of seats alone.

About Walhain

Walhain is a small, mostly rural municipality in the Walloon Brabant province of Wallonia, the French-speaking part of Belgium. It consists of several villages surrounded by farmland and quiet country roads, and it is a calm place compared with the Brussels area. Travellers usually come here to visit family, attend a private event or stay somewhere quieter. Since the area is spread out, give your driver the exact street address or the name of the venue so the drop-off is precise.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there once you leave the baggage hall.
