Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Vurste

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Vurste

The route covers 74 km (46 miles) and usually takes around 52 minutes. Most of the journey is on the motorway network around Brussels and towards Ghent, before the last stretch on smaller local roads. Vurste is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route. Traffic around Brussels can build up on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so it is sensible to add some buffer if you have a tight connection, a meeting or a check-in time at the other end.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For couples, small families or solo travellers, a private taxi is the simplest option. It is offered in a 1-3 passenger version and a 1-4 passenger version, so check how many people and how many suitcases you are bringing. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for wedding guests, family gatherings, sports clubs and company groups travelling together. Everyone arrives at the same time and nobody has to coordinate several cars.

About Vurste

Vurste is a small village in the municipality of Gavere in East Flanders, in the quiet Flemish countryside south of Ghent. It is a calm, rural setting rather than a tourist hotspot. That makes a door-to-door transfer especially convenient, since you are taken straight to your address without changing between several trains or buses. Please have the full street address ready when you book, as smaller villages can have similar road names in neighbouring areas.
