Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Vucht

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Vucht

Vucht lies 105 km (66 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey normally takes about 1 h 8 m by road. The route heads east through Flanders into the province of Limburg, so most of the trip is on motorway. Vucht is not a frequently requested destination, but the transfer is available on request like any other. Rush hour around Brussels and Leuven can slow the first part of the drive, so allow extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons, or when you have a fixed appointment at the other end.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and be on your way without searching the terminal.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi, with one option for up to 3 passengers and another for up to 4. If you are travelling with more people or a lot of luggage, a private minibus with 8 seats is the next step up. For larger groups there are minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 seats, so a family gathering, a team or an organised tour can all arrive together in one vehicle. Choose by the number of passengers and add a margin if you carry bulky bags or sports equipment.

About Vucht

Vucht is a small village in the municipality of Maasmechelen in Belgian Limburg, close to the Dutch border and the Meuse valley. The surroundings are mostly quiet and green, with farmland and woodland rather than big-city streets. Because it is a small place, it helps to have the exact street address ready when you book, so the driver can take you to the right door without detours.
