The drive from BRU to Vrasene

The route covers 60 km (37 miles) and typically takes around 41 minutes in normal traffic. Most of the journey is on motorway, heading from Zaventem towards the Antwerp area and then on into the Waasland region. Vrasene is not a route many travellers book, but it is available on request just like any other transfer. Allow extra time during weekday rush hours, when the Brussels ring and the approaches to Antwerp can slow down considerably. Bad weather can also add some minutes, so it is sensible to plan a small buffer if you have a fixed appointment at the other end.

About Vrasene

Vrasene is a village in the municipality of Beveren in East Flanders, in the Waasland area on the left bank of the Scheldt. It is a quiet, largely residential place with a rural character, close to the busy port zone around Antwerp. Visitors usually come here to see family or friends, or for business connected to the surrounding port and industrial area. Beyond that, it is best known as a calm base within easy reach of Antwerp and Sint-Niklaas.
