Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Vossem

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Vossem

Vossem lies 23 km (14 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 20 minutes. Your driver will take the most sensible road for the traffic on the day. Vossem is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Allow some extra time if you travel at the morning or evening rush hour. Traffic around the Brussels ring road and the eastern approaches slows down at these times, so the 20 minutes is a guide for normal conditions rather than a promise.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Small groups are best served by a private taxi. There is a version for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4, so check your luggage before choosing the smaller one.

• Private Taxi: suits individual travellers, couples, and families of up to 3 or 4.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for a larger family or a small group with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: work well for wedding parties, business teams, and club outings.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large groups, events, and organised tours arriving together.

Every vehicle is a private transfer. You travel only with your own party and go straight to your address in Vossem, without shared stops on the way.

Vossem as a Destination

Vossem is a small village in the municipality of Tervuren, in Flemish Brabant, just east of Brussels. The surrounding area is green and residential, and the nearby Sonian Forest is popular with walkers and cyclists. Tervuren itself is the best-known place in the area, and it is only a short distance away. Because Vossem is so small, it helps to have the exact street address ready for your driver.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go there straight from baggage reclaim and meet your driver without any searching.
