Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Vosselaar

The drive from Brussels Airport to Vosselaar

Vosselaar lies about 80 km (50 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU). The drive usually takes around 55 minutes in normal traffic. The route heads north-east out of the Brussels area into the province of Antwerp, so a large part of it is on motorway. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels and Antwerp can add time. Heavy rain or roadworks can do the same. If you have a tight connection or an appointment on arrival, plan some buffer. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24 and 32 Seats: for tour groups, clubs, teams and company events.
• Private Minibus 40 and 48 Seats: for the largest groups, such as coach-sized parties arriving on the same flight.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up. This leaves room for suitcases, sports equipment or prams.

About Vosselaar

Vosselaar is a small municipality in the Kempen region of Antwerp province, right next to the larger town of Turnhout. The surroundings are mostly residential, with green areas typical of the Campine landscape. It is a quiet destination compared with Brussels. Travellers usually come here to visit family, for business in the Turnhout area, or for a stay in the countryside of northern Belgium. Having a private transfer saves you from piecing together a journey with several connections after a flight. Please give your driver the exact street address when you book, so the drop-off goes smoothly.
