Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Voortkapel

The drive from Brussels Airport to Voortkapel

Voortkapel lies 58 km (36 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes around 50 minutes. A private transfer takes you from the terminal to your address without changes or waiting. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Weekday rush hours around Brussels can slow the first part of the trip, so allow some extra time if you have a tight appointment or a connection to make at the other end.

Choosing the right vehicle

For smaller parties there are two taxi options: one for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, the larger of the two gives you more breathing room. Groups can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so the same route works for a family gathering, a wedding party or a company outing. Pick the vehicle by the number of people in your group, and consider going one size up if you carry bulky bags or equipment.

About Voortkapel

Voortkapel is a small village in the Flemish countryside. Expect a quiet, rural setting rather than a busy town centre, with narrow local roads near the final address. It helps to give your driver the exact street name and house number when you book, so the last stretch goes smoothly and no time is lost looking for the right entrance.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can head there straight from baggage reclaim.
