Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Voorde

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem to Voorde

Voorde lies 50 km (31 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 43 minutes. The journey leaves the airport area and crosses to the western side of Brussels before continuing into the East Flanders countryside. Traffic around Brussels can build up during the morning and evening rush hours, so it is sensible to allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer.

Which Vehicle Suits Your Group

For individual travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simple choice. There is a version for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4 passengers, which gives a little more room when you travel with several suitcases.

Larger groups can book a private minibus. The options run from 8 seats up to 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 seats, so a family gathering, a wedding party, a sports team or a company outing can all travel together in one vehicle. Choose the size according to the number of people and the amount of luggage you bring.

About Voorde as a Destination

Voorde is a small village in East Flanders and part of the municipality of Ninove. It has a quiet, rural character, typical of the Flemish countryside west of Brussels. Because the area is residential and spread out, a door-to-door transfer is often the most practical way to arrive. Please give your driver the full address when you book, so that they can take you directly to the right street.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage. Simply head there and look for your name.
