Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Vezin

The drive from Zaventem to Vezin

The transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport to Vezin covers 71 km (44 miles) and typically takes 49 minutes. Vezin is a less frequently booked destination, but the ride is available on request like any other route. Allow extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons, when traffic around Brussels is heaviest, and in poor weather, which can slow the motorways.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples, solo travellers and small families usually fit a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The 4-passenger option gives a little more room for luggage when you travel as a foursome. Larger groups can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so a wedding party, a company team or a group of friends can arrive together in one vehicle. Count your suitcases as well as your passengers when you pick a size.

Where to stay near Vezin

Vezin is too small for a wide choice of hotels, so the nearest larger town, Namur, is the practical base. These well-established places to stay are there:

• Les Tanneurs de Namur, a hotel in the old town centre
• Château de Namur, a hotel in the citadel park above the city
• Hôtel Beauregard, a central hotel close to the Meuse
