Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Veurs

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Veurs

Veurs lies 124 km (78 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey by road usually takes around 1 h 23 m. The route leads east across Belgium, away from the capital and towards the Dutch and Walloon borders. The final stretch runs through hilly countryside on smaller roads, where progress is steadier than on the motorway. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer.

Allow extra time if you travel on weekday mornings or late afternoons, when traffic around Brussels is heaviest. Bad weather in winter can also slow the rural last part of the trip. If you have a connection, a tight appointment or an event to reach, build in a comfortable margin.

Meeting Point at the Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without a long search.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends mostly on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: practical for mid-sized groups, clubs and company teams.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: made for large parties such as tour groups, wedding guests or event delegations.

If you are unsure, pick the next size up when you carry bulky items such as sports equipment, strollers or several large suitcases.

About Veurs

Veurs is a small village in the municipality of Voeren, in the east of the province of Limburg. The area is known for its rolling green landscape and its position close to the borders with the Netherlands and Wallonia. It is a quiet rural destination, popular with walkers and cyclists and with visitors who want to stay away from big cities. Because public facilities are limited in such a small place, a private transfer straight to your address is often the simplest way to arrive, especially with luggage or after a long flight.

Please give the driver the exact address when booking, as some village roads are narrow and a precise location helps the pickup or drop-off run smoothly.
