Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Verlaine-sur-Ourthe

The drive from Brussels Airport to Verlaine-sur-Ourthe

The route covers 125 km (78 miles) and typically takes 1 h 32 m. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other. Most of the journey is on motorways before the roads become smaller as you near the destination. Allow extra time during the morning and evening rush around Brussels, in bad weather, and on busy holiday weekends. If you have a fixed appointment or check-in time, build in a buffer rather than planning for the exact driving time.

Choosing the right vehicle

Small groups can choose a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The 1-4 option suits a family or four travellers with moderate luggage, while the 1-3 option gives a little more breathing room. Larger parties are covered by private minibuses with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. These work well for family gatherings, wedding guests, company outings or groups of friends travelling together. When you book, count your suitcases as well as your passengers so the vehicle you pick has enough space for everything.
