Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Valkenberg

The drive from Zaventem to Valkenberg

The route covers 130 km (81 miles) and typically takes 1 h 26 m. Most of the journey is on motorways, so the time is fairly predictable. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush around Brussels, or in bad winter weather, which can slow traffic on the ring road and the main eastbound routes. Valkenberg is not a frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request like any other. A private car takes you door to door, so there are no timetables to match and no changes with luggage.

Which vehicle suits your group

For couples, solo travellers and small families, a Private Taxi is the simplest choice. It comes in two sizes, for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. The smaller one is comfortable for three people with luggage, while the larger one gives a fourth traveller a seat.

Larger parties can book a Private Minibus. The options are:

• 8 seats, for a family or a small group of friends with extra bags
• 16 seats, for a wedding party or a team
• 24 and 32 seats, for tour groups and club trips
• 40 and 48 seats, for large delegations and coach-sized groups

If you are close to a size limit and have bulky luggage, such as sports equipment or several large cases, choose the next size up.

About Valkenberg

Valkenberg is a small destination, so exact pickup and drop-off points matter more than they would in a big city. Please give your driver the full address of your accommodation or venue when you book. Check it against your reservation confirmation, so the driver can plan the final part of the route and you are dropped off at the right door.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and meet your driver without delay.
