Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Uithoorn

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can walk straight there without searching the terminal.

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Uithoorn

The journey covers 197 km (123 miles) and typically takes 2 h 16 m. It crosses the border from Belgium into the Netherlands, so it is a real long-distance transfer rather than a quick hop. Uithoorn is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request like any other route.

Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour. Traffic around Brussels and in the Amsterdam region can slow the trip, and so can bad weather. If you have a fixed appointment or a connecting journey at the end, it is sensible to build in a buffer.

Which Vehicle Fits Your Group

The vehicle you choose depends on how many people and how much luggage you are bringing:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling together with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: work well for business teams, clubs and mid-sized groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large parties, events and organised tours.

On a trip of over two hours, a little extra space makes the ride more comfortable. If your group is close to a vehicle's limit, consider the next size up.

About Uithoorn

Uithoorn is a town in the province of North Holland, on the Amstel river. It lies south of Amsterdam, close to Amstelveen and Aalsmeer, and not far from Schiphol Airport. The surroundings are green and low-lying, with waterways typical of the region. This makes it a quieter base than central Amsterdam, which remains within easy reach by road.

Please have the full address of your destination in Uithoorn ready when you book, so your driver can plan the final stretch of the route.
