Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ucimont

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Ucimont

The transfer covers 147 km (92 miles) and typically takes 1 h 41 m. The route leaves the Brussels area and heads south-east into the Belgian Ardennes, so the last stretch is usually on quieter, winding roads. Allow extra time if you land during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush around Brussels. Winter weather can also slow the Ardennes roads. Ucimont is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request like any other route.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Couples, solo travellers and small families usually fit a private taxi, with options for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Walking and cycling holidays in the Ardennes often mean bulky bags, so pick the size that leaves room for everything. If your group is close to a vehicle's limit, going one size up is the more comfortable choice on a drive of this length.

About Ucimont

Ucimont is a small village in the municipality of Bouillon, in the Ardennes region of southern Belgium. The surroundings are wooded and hilly, which makes the area a popular base for walking, cycling and quiet countryside stays. There is little in the way of urban amenities, so it helps to arrange your arrival and onward plans before you travel. Give your driver the exact address of your accommodation, as small village roads can be hard to find on a navigation system.
