Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Trivieres

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Trivieres

The route covers 69 km (43 miles) and typically takes around 49 minutes. It is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer. Most of the journey is on motorway, heading south-west from Zaventem across Flemish Brabant and into Hainaut. The Brussels ring road is the main variable. Weekday rush hours, especially the morning and late afternoon, can add noticeable time, so it is sensible to allow a buffer if you have a tight appointment at the other end.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Travellers on their own, couples and small families are usually best served by a private taxi, available for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. If you are four people with large suitcases, consider stepping up a size so nobody has to squeeze in. For larger parties, there are private minibuses with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. These suit family gatherings, wedding guests, sports teams, company groups and other parties who want to arrive together rather than split across several cars.

About Trivieres

Trivieres is a quiet, mostly residential village in the province of Hainaut, belonging to the municipality of La Louvière. It lies in the Centre region of Wallonia, an area shaped by its industrial past and by the canal landscape of the Canal du Centre. It is not a tourist hub, so most visitors come to see family, attend events or do business in the surrounding towns. For the drop-off, have the full street address ready when you book, since village streets can be harder to locate than a main address in a city.
