Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Tildonk

The Drive from Zaventem to Tildonk

Tildonk lies 21 km (14 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 26 minutes. The route heads out of the Brussels periphery towards the Leuven and Mechelen area, so the weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours are when delays are most likely. If you have a tight connection or an appointment, add a buffer for those periods. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle depends on how many people and how much luggage you bring:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits individual travellers, couples, and families with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for a larger family or a small group with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 or 24 Seats: practical for wedding parties, corporate groups, and team trips.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 or 48 Seats: intended for large groups, tour parties, and events that need everyone to arrive together.

If you are close to a vehicle's limit, choose the next size up so luggage fits comfortably.

Tildonk and Places to Stay Nearby

Tildonk is a small, quiet village in the municipality of Haacht in Flemish Brabant, set in green countryside between Leuven and Mechelen. It is mainly residential and rural, which makes it a calm base away from the airport bustle, though it has little in the way of large hotels of its own.

For accommodation, the nearest larger town with well-established hotels is Leuven. Options there include:

• Martin's Klooster Hotel, housed in a former convent building.
• Park Inn by Radisson Leuven, a modern hotel close to the centre.
• Ibis Leuven Centrum, a straightforward choice near the station area.

If your destination in Tildonk is a private address, a wedding venue, or a business, simply give the driver the exact address when booking so the pickup or drop-off goes smoothly.
