Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to The Neufchatel Belgian Hotel, Brussels

The drive from BRU to the hotel

The Neufchatel Belgian Hotel is in Brussels, 16 km (10 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU). The drive normally takes about 25 minutes. Roads into the city fill up during the morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so allow some extra time if you have an early meeting or a tight schedule. This route is booked less often than some others, but it is available on request just like any other, so you can arrange it ahead of your trip.

Choosing the right vehicle

The best vehicle depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have. Smaller groups can choose between two private taxi options:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) for solo travellers, couples or a small family
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) for four people travelling together

Larger parties, such as business delegations, school trips or wedding guests, can book a private minibus. Capacities run from 8 seats up to 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64 seats. If your group is close to a size limit and you carry a lot of bags, it makes sense to go one size up.

Meeting point

After you have collected your luggage, head to Java Coffee House, which is easy to find. Your driver will be waiting there with a personalised name sign.

Places to stay in Brussels

The Neufchatel Belgian Hotel is one of many places to stay in the Belgian capital, a city known for the Grand Place, its comic-strip heritage and the European institutions. If you are comparing options or extending your stay, some long-established names in Brussels include Hotel Metropole, a historic grand hotel near Place de Brouckere, Hotel Amigo, close to the Grand Place, and Hotel Le Plaza. Each is a recognised address in the city centre, and the same transfer arrangements apply if you move between hotels during your trip.
