Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to The Hague

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.

The Drive to The Hague

The route covers 167 km (104 miles) and usually takes 1 h 56 m. Most of the journey is on motorway, crossing from Belgium into the Netherlands along the way. Traffic around Brussels, Antwerp and Rotterdam can build up during weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so it is sensible to add a buffer if you have a meeting, a ferry or a event ticket waiting at the other end.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other, and the transfer is arranged privately for your group alone. There are no shared stops on the way.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option: one version seats 1-3 passengers, another 1-4 passengers, which helps when you have a bit more luggage. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, which suits business delegations, conference groups, school trips and family gatherings. Pick the size according to both passenger numbers and the amount of luggage you bring.

Where to Stay in The Hague

The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government and home to the International Court of Justice, which is why many visitors arrive for diplomatic or legal business. It also has a long beach promenade at Scheveningen and museums such as the Mauritshuis.

• Hotel Des Indes is a historic grand hotel in the city centre, housed in a nineteenth-century mansion and a long-standing address for official visitors.
• Kurhaus Hotel stands on the seafront in Scheveningen, within The Hague, in a landmark building that has overlooked the North Sea for well over a century.

Give your driver the full hotel name or street address when you book, so the drop-off goes smoothly even in the busy centre.
