Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Terbruggen

The drive from Brussels Airport to Terbruggen

The route covers 295 km (184 miles), and the typical driving time is 3 h 16 m. That is a long transfer by airport standards, so it helps to plan it as a proper journey rather than a quick hop. Heavy traffic around Brussels at rush hour, roadworks or bad weather can add time, so allow a buffer if you have a connection, an appointment or a check-in deadline at the other end. For a trip of this length, a short comfort stop along the way is easy to arrange with your driver.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and the transfer is private from start to finish.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle should match the size of your group and the amount of luggage you bring, since you will spend more than three hours on board.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with normal luggage. Choose the 1-3 version if you want extra space for bags.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for tour parties, teams and sizeable family gatherings.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large groups, events and organised trips that need to travel together.

If your group is close to the upper limit of a vehicle, pick the next size up for more comfort on a long ride.

About Terbruggen

Terbruggen is a small place, and there is little to say about it in general terms. If you are not sure of the exact address, have the street name and house number ready when you book, together with a phone number the driver can reach on arrival. This avoids detours on the final stretch, which can matter in small villages with narrow or lightly signposted streets.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and meet your driver without searching the terminal.
