Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Steinbach

The Drive from BRU to Steinbach

The route covers 387 km (241 miles), and the typical driving time is 4 h 0 m. That is a long ride by Belgian standards, so it helps to plan for it. Brussels and its ring road can slow things down at rush hour, and weather or roadworks can add time further along the way. If you have a connecting appointment, a check-in time or a dinner reservation at the other end, build in a comfortable buffer instead of calculating to the minute.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. A private transfer means a single door-to-door journey with no changes and no need to carry luggage through stations.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For a four-hour trip, legroom and luggage space matter more than usual. The vehicles available for this route are:

• Private Taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, suited to individual travellers, couples and small families.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats for groups of up to 8 with extra luggage.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats for larger parties, team trips and family gatherings.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats for coach-sized groups, events and organised tours.

If your group is close to a vehicle's limit, choose the next size up. A long drive is much more pleasant with some room to spare.

About Steinbach

Steinbach is a small place, and there is little that can be said about it in general terms. Because the name is not unique, please give your driver the full street address or a map pin for your accommodation or meeting spot, so the final stretch of the journey goes smoothly. Once you have arrived, the surrounding area is best explored by car, and your driver can tell you the best drop-off point on arrival.

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there after baggage reclaim.
