Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Staden

The Drive from BRU to Staden

The route covers 137 km (86 miles) and typically takes 1 h 31 m. Staden lies in West Flanders, so the journey runs west across Flanders, mostly on motorway before finishing on smaller local roads. Staden is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request like any other route. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush, when the roads around Brussels are at their busiest. Bad weather can also slow the motorway sections.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For couples, solo travellers and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. There are two sizes: one for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4. Larger parties travel together in a private minibus. The choice runs from 8 seats up to 48 seats, in steps of 8 up to 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48. This makes the route workable for family gatherings, wedding guests, sports teams, company groups or coach-style group travel. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, choose the next size up so everyone has room.

About Staden

Staden is a small town in West Flanders, set in typical Flemish farmland near Roeselare. It is a quiet, rural area rather than a busy tourist centre, and most visitors come to see family, attend events or stay in the surrounding countryside. A door-to-door transfer is practical here, since a trip by public transport would be slow and awkward. Please give us the full street address when you book, so the driver can take you straight to the right door.

Meeting Point

After you have collected your luggage, your driver will be waiting at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find from the baggage reclaim area, so you can meet your driver quickly and start the journey to Staden without delay.
