Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Soy

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem to Soy

The transfer covers 728 km (453 miles), and the typical driving time is 7 h 43 m. That makes it a long journey by road, closer to a full day of travel than a quick hop from the airport. Soy is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the route is available on request like any other.

Allow extra time for heavy traffic around Brussels at rush hour, for weather in winter, and for roadworks, which can add to the usual duration. On a trip of this length, one or two short rest stops are sensible, especially with children or older passengers. If you have a fixed appointment or check-in time in Soy, plan to arrive with some margin rather than cutting it fine.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For small groups, a private taxi works well. There are options for 1-3 passengers and for 1-4 passengers, so choose by how much luggage you carry as well as by head count. On a journey of nearly eight hours, the extra legroom is worth thinking about.

Larger parties can travel together in a private minibus:

• 8 seats: families or small groups with plenty of bags
• 16 seats: mid-sized groups, such as teams or extended families
• 24 and 32 seats: larger groups and organised tours
• 40 and 48 seats: big parties, events or full coach-style groups

Booking one vehicle for everyone avoids splitting up after a flight and means a single arrival time at the destination.

Soy as a Destination

Soy is a small place, so you will not find the range of services of a big city on arrival. Please give us the exact address of your accommodation or meeting spot when you book. That helps your driver go straight to the right door, particularly on smaller local roads where a general place name is not precise enough. If you are arriving late in the evening, it is also worth confirming with your host that someone will be there to receive you.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet without searching around the terminal.
