Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Soumagne

The drive from Brussels Airport to Soumagne

Soumagne lies 107 km (67 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes 1 h 6 m. The route heads east across Belgium towards the Liège area, so most of the journey is on motorway. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour, when traffic around Brussels and on the approaches to Liège can slow things down. Bad weather in winter can also add some minutes. This route is booked less often than the big city transfers, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver will plan it as a direct private ride with no stops for other passengers.

Meeting point at the airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go there straight from baggage reclaim.

Which vehicle suits your group

For couples, solo travellers and small families, a private taxi is the natural choice, with versions for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. If you have more people or a lot of luggage, choose a minibus. The 8-seat minibus suits larger families or small business teams. The 16-seat and 24-seat vehicles suit tour parties and clubs. For bigger groups such as school trips, wedding guests or company outings, minibuses with 32, 40 or 48 seats are available. Pick the size by the number of passengers and bags, not only by seat count, so everyone travels comfortably over an hour on the road.

About Soumagne

Soumagne is a municipality in the province of Liège, in the Plateau de Herve, a rolling green area known for farmland and the Herve cheese region. It is a quiet, largely residential place with a rural character, and the city of Liège is a short drive away. If you are travelling to a private address, have the full street name and house number ready for your driver, as smaller villages in this area can have lanes that are hard to find without a precise address.
