Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Sohier

The drive from Brussels Airport to Sohier

The route covers 114 km (71 miles) and typically takes 1 h 17 m. You leave the Brussels area and continue south-east toward the Ardennes, so the last part of the trip runs through quieter roads and wooded countryside. Sohier is a less frequently booked destination, which is why it is arranged on request. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in poor winter weather, which can slow the final stretch inland.

Choosing the right vehicle

Because the transfer is private, you travel directly to your address without changing vehicles. The vehicle you choose depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) suit individual travellers, couples and families.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats is a good fit for a larger family or a small group with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24 and 32 Seats cover groups such as friends travelling together, clubs or event parties.
• Private Minibus 40 and 48 Seats are intended for large groups that want to arrive together in one vehicle.

If you carry bulky luggage, sports gear or equipment for outdoor activities, choose the next size up for more room.

About Sohier

Sohier is a small village in the Belgian Ardennes, in the municipality of Wellin in Wallonia. It is a rural, green area, so most visitors come for walking, cycling and a quiet break away from the cities. Services in the village itself are limited, so it helps to have your exact address ready for the driver and to plan meals and supplies in advance.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without any searching.
