Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Smartflats - Gaite Brussels

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can walk over without searching the arrivals hall.

The Drive from BRU to Smartflats - Gaite Brussels

The route covers 15 km (9 miles) and usually takes about 24 minutes by road. That is a short ride for an airport transfer, but Brussels traffic is not constant. The morning and late-afternoon rush hours, and the approach roads into the city centre, can add extra minutes. If you have a tight schedule, such as a meeting soon after landing, it is sensible to allow some buffer. This route is booked less often than the busiest ones, but it is available on request just like any other, so you only need to give your arrival details when you book.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group and your luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with normal luggage. Choose the larger option if you are four people or carry bulky bags.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats gives extra room for larger parties or for groups with a lot of luggage.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64 Seats cover tour groups, school trips, business delegations and event guests, so everyone arrives together in one vehicle.

If you are unsure which size to pick, count the passengers and the large suitcases, then go for the next size up when in doubt.

About Smartflats - Gaite Brussels

Smartflats - Gaite Brussels offers apartment-style accommodation in Brussels. This kind of stay appeals to guests who want a bit more space than a standard hotel room, for example on a longer visit or when travelling as a family or with colleagues. Because the transfer goes straight to your destination, you avoid changing between several modes of transport with your luggage after a flight. Keep your booking confirmation and check-in instructions at hand, since apartment accommodation often has its own arrival procedure that you should confirm with the property in advance.
