Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Sint-Margriete-Houtem

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Sint-Margriete-Houtem

The route covers 46 km (29 miles) and normally takes about 36 minutes by road. Sint-Margriete-Houtem lies east of the capital in Flemish Brabant, so you leave the airport area and head out into quieter countryside. Allow some extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late afternoon rush, when traffic around Brussels slows down. Bad weather and roadworks can also add a few minutes, and a private transfer lets you travel at your own pace without checking timetables.

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there without searching the terminal.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle depends mainly on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you bring. These options are available for this route:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) gives a group of four a little more room.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats works well for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats fit wedding parties, sports teams and small business groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover large delegations, tour groups and event guests.

If you are unsure which size is best, choose the larger one when you carry bulky luggage such as sports equipment or musical instruments.
