Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Schriek

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up without searching the terminal.

The Drive from BRU to Schriek

The route covers 43 km (27 miles) and usually takes about 37 minutes. Schriek is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other. Allow some extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hours, when traffic around Brussels can slow down the first part of the journey. On a quiet road the trip is a calm, direct ride from the arrivals hall to your door.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, and small families.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers): works for larger families or friends travelling with extra luggage.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: fit wedding parties, business delegations, and club trips.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats (up to 48 passengers): are intended for large groups, events, and coach-style arrivals.

If you are unsure, choose the next size up when you have bulky bags such as sports equipment or musical instruments.

About Schriek

Schriek is a small village in the municipality of Heist-op-den-Berg, in the province of Antwerp. It has a quiet, rural character with fields and green surroundings rather than large tourist sights. Because it is a small place, it helps to give your exact street name and house number when you book, so the driver can take you straight to the right door. The same applies if you are heading back to the airport: confirm the pickup address in advance.
