Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Schendelbeke

The drive from Brussels Airport to Schendelbeke

Schendelbeke lies 57 km (36 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 48 minutes. The route leads out of the Brussels area towards the southwest and ends on smaller local roads in East Flanders. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer. Traffic around Brussels can slow things down at weekday rush hours, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment, a connecting train or an event at the other end.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. It is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, so check your luggage along with your head count. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8 or 16 seats. For wedding guests, sports teams, company groups or coach-style arrivals, minibuses with 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats are available. Everyone then travels together and arrives at the same time, with no need to coordinate several cars.

About Schendelbeke

Schendelbeke is a village belonging to the town of Geraardsbergen in East Flanders. It is a quiet, rural place, so a door-to-door transfer is often far more practical than piecing together a journey with several local connections. Give your driver the exact street address or the name of the venue when you book, so the final stretch goes smoothly, especially if you are heading for a private house or a farm.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage. Look for the sign with your name on it and your driver will take you to the vehicle.
