Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Samart

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there from baggage reclaim.

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem to Samart

The route covers 1219 km (758 miles) and typically takes around 11 h 33 m by road. That makes it a long-distance transfer rather than a quick hop. It is booked less often than the busy city routes, but it is available on request like every other route.

On a journey of this length, allow extra time for heavy traffic around Brussels at rush hour, for bad weather, and for the rest breaks that a drive of more than eleven hours calls for. If you have a connection or appointment at the other end, plan a comfortable buffer instead of counting on the minimum driving time.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For a trip this long, space and comfort matter more than usual. The options are:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) for individual travellers, couples, families and small groups with ordinary luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers) for larger families or colleagues travelling together with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats, 24 Seats and 32 Seats for mid-sized groups, clubs and events.
• Private Minibus 40 Seats and 48 Seats for large parties that want to arrive together in one vehicle.

If your group is close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up. Seats and luggage space are noticeably more comfortable over 11 hours.

About Samart

Samart is a small place in Belgium, and not a destination with a large tourist infrastructure. Expect a quiet setting rather than a busy centre. Because it is small, it helps to have the exact street address and a contact phone number ready when you book, so the driver can take you to the door without detours. Anything you need for the stay, such as groceries or a restaurant, is best arranged before arrival.
