Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Salmchateau

The drive from Brussels Airport to Salmchateau

Salmchateau lies 157 km (98 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 1 h 39 m. The route leads away from the capital region and into the Belgian Ardennes, so the landscape changes from flat suburbs to wooded hills as you go. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in winter, when fog or snow can slow traffic in the Ardennes.

Choosing the right vehicle

For small groups, a Private Taxi is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, which suits solo travellers, couples and families with luggage. Larger parties can book a Private Minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Minibuses work well for walking groups, family gatherings, wedding guests and company outings heading into the Ardennes. Choose the size by passengers and luggage together, since hiking gear and ski bags take up space quickly.
