The route covers 166 km (104 miles) and typically takes 1 h 56 m. It runs north through Flanders, past Antwerp, across the border into the Netherlands and on towards the Randstad. Most of the trip is on motorway, so the journey is steady, but the stretches around Brussels, Antwerp and Rotterdam can slow down at rush hour. If you have a fixed appointment, a conference or a connection in The Hague, allow some extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons.
