Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Rutten

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Rutten

Rutten lies 85 km (53 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey by road usually takes around 54 minutes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer. A private car takes you straight to your address without changes or waiting for connections, which is a real advantage after a long flight with luggage.

The stated driving time reflects normal conditions. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hours around Brussels, or in bad weather, since the first part of the trip leaves the busy airport area before reaching quieter roads.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on your group size and how much luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats: practical for mid-sized groups, teams or wedding parties.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: designed for large groups, events and organised tours that want to arrive together.

If you are unsure which option fits, choose the next size up when you have bulky items such as sports equipment, prams or several large suitcases.
