Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Rumsdorp

The drive from Zaventem to Rumsdorp

Rumsdorp lies 56 km (35 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes around 42 minutes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer. Your driver takes the most sensible road for the time of day, so you do not have to work out the route yourself after a flight.

The Brussels ring road and the main motorways around the capital can slow down noticeably at rush hour, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment at the other end. The same applies in bad weather. If you are heading to Rumsdorp for an event or a tight connection, it is worth planning a small buffer.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you choose depends mainly on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or (1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, small families and business travellers with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling together with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24 and 32 Seats: practical for tour groups, wedding parties and company teams.
• Private Minibus 40 and 48 Seats: for large delegations or coach-sized groups heading to the same address.

If your group sits close to the limit of a vehicle, or you carry bulky items such as sports equipment or prams, choose the next size up for a more comfortable ride.

About Rumsdorp

Rumsdorp is a small place in Belgium, so there is little in the way of big-city infrastructure. A private transfer is a convenient way to get there, because it takes you straight to your exact address instead of leaving you to arrange onward travel locally. Please give your driver the full street address when booking so the drop-off goes smoothly.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up quickly and head out without any searching around the terminal.
