Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Rummen

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Rummen

Rummen lies 68 km (42 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 49 minutes. The route leaves the airport area and heads east into Flemish Brabant, so you swap the terminal surroundings for open countryside fairly quickly. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour, when traffic around Brussels and Leuven can slow the first part of the journey.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage and made your way into the arrivals area. Simply look for your name and you can head to the vehicle together.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For small groups, a private taxi is the natural choice: one version seats up to 3 passengers, another up to 4. If you are travelling with more people or a lot of luggage, a private minibus with 8 seats gives you extra space. Larger parties such as wedding guests, sports teams or company groups can book a minibus with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so everyone arrives in a single vehicle rather than being split across several cars.

About Rummen

Rummen is a village in the municipality of Geetbets in Flemish Brabant. It is a quiet, rural area, far from the busy atmosphere of the capital. Because it is a small place without major transport hubs, a private transfer is a convenient way to reach it directly from the airport, with door-to-door drop-off at your address. Please have the full street address ready when booking so the driver can plan the final stretch accurately.
